- The Sabratha platform is located in the Mediterranean Sea, 110km North West of Tripoli
- The platform, is considered to be the largest Libyan Offshore Oil and Gas facility, contains all the facilities required for the preliminary separation and treatment of the gas extracted
- The gas volumes are processed at the Mellitah Gas Processing Plant and then shipped to Italy via the Greenstream Pipeline Interconnector
