Description
- The field is no longer producing
- Viking is situated in Blocks 49/12, 49/16 and 49/17.
- Viking consists of seven normally unmanned platforms in the Southern North Sea plus one manned main complex, Viking B, and the associated outlying **Vixen** subsea satellite.
- Vixen was developed by a subsea installation tied back to the Viking platform via an infield pipeline.
- The 1998 Phoenix project added the KD & LD platforms and four more wells
- The Victor Gas Field is also tied back to the Viking Platform
- Gas is exported to the Theddlethorpe Gas Processing Plant
