Brief Description

History
- 2008 - Shandong Qingdao LNG project environmental impact evaluation was announced to the public
- 2009 - Purchase agreement signed with PNG LNG
- 2010 - FEED & EPC contract awarded
- 2010 - Sinopec has started building its first liquefied natural gas (LNG) receiving terminal in Qingdao
- 2014 - Terminal commissioned
- 2021 - Terminal expanded to 7.0 mtpa
- 2023 - Additional tank completed
