The Project
- Description: A world-scale ethane cracker with capacity of more than 1.5 million tonnes per annum of ethylene and two new polyethylene plants - each with a capacity of 700,000 tonnes per annum, using the third generation of Borealis Borstar® technology

- Maire Tecnimont: EPC Lump Sum turnkey contracts relate to the execution of three packages of the Borouge 4 project: the “polyolefin units package”, which includes two polyethylene units with a capacity of 700,000 tons per year each, and 1-hexene (1) unit; the “cross-linkable polyethylene (2) unit package”; the “utilities and offsites package”, which includes the utilities and offsites units for the whole Borouge 4 project.
