Brief Description
- With a total send-out capacity of 4.0 Bcf/d and 16.8 Bcf of storage capacity the Sabine Pass terminal was the largest receiving terminal, by regasification capacity, in the world

Technical Details
- Storage capacity:
- Phase I: Three 160,000 cubic meter storage tanks
- Phase II: Two 160,000 cubic meter storage tanks
- Unloading capacity: Two unloading docks capable of handling ships of up to 250,000 cubic meters
- Send out capacity: 4 Bcf/d
- Constructor:
- Bechtel executed a Lump Sum Turnkey Agreement for the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC)
- Consortium of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Zachry Construction constructed tanks for both phases
Ongoing Projects/Project Status
- The terminal has been converted from a re-gasification unit to a liquefaction terminal.
