Brief Description
- The pipeline provides crude oil transportation service from a point near Guernsey, Wyoming to delivery points at Ponca City, Oklahoma and Cushing, Oklahoma
- It is a 24-inch diameter underground crude oil pipeline, transporting light, sweet crude oil
- It is able to supply the Ponca City Refinery
- Pony Express also has a lateral in Northeast Colorado that commences in Weld County, Colorado and interconnects with the Pony Express mainline just east of Sterling, Colorado. This section is approximately 66 miles. A 55-mile extension to Platteville, Colorado was added in 2018.
- The pipeline has an interconnect with the Double H Crude Oil Pipeline & Platte Crude Oil Pipeline at Guernsey, Wyoming.

- 2013 - FERC awarded permission to convert the gas pipeline
- 2014 - The pipeline enters service
- 2014 - Expansion project launched
- 2015 - Northeast Colorado lateral completed
- 2018 - Extension of Northeast Colorado lateral
- 2018 - Capacity increased from 320,000 b/d to 400,000 b/d
