- An offshore field in the Persian Gulf, Nowruz was the site of one of the worst oil spills in history
- The development consists of 17 wells, one drilling platform for production, and one well and one accommodation platform.
- The produced oil is transferred to [[[Soroosh Oil Field]]] via a 22-inch pipeline and after the final treatment, it is stored into the Soorena, floating storage unit (F.S.U.)
