Description

  • The field was developed in 2 phases
  • Phase one included the installation of the Babbage platform, the drilling of three production wells and the laying of a 28km pipeline to connect the field to existing UK gas infrastructure
  • The platform is normally unmanned
  • Phase two involved the drilling of 2 more wells
  • Gas is transported to the Easington Gas Processing Terminal

  • **SLP:** Construction of the Wellhead Production Platform - full EPC contracted project including topside, jacket and piles, offshore hook-up and commissioning
  • **Technip:**
    • project management, design, fabrication and installation of a 28 kilometer gas export rigid pipeline, a 40 ton manifold and three flexible tie-in jumpers
    • installation of pipeline protection materials,
    • trenching and backfilling of the gas export pipeline,
    • pre-commissioning, tie-ins and testing
  • **Nessco:** Communication systems
  • **KWsubsea:** 12" Gas Pipeline (28km)
  • **Global Maritime:** Warranty surveyor for installation of flowline
