Brief Description
- The Valero Three Rivers Refinery is located approximately 70 miles south of San Antonio, and in the heart of Eagle Ford Shale production. It is medium sized and high complexity

Crude Supply
- Connected to the Corpus Christi refinery complex by a 70-mile pipeline, which has the capacity to deliver 120,000 BPD of crude oil
- Crude from Eagle Ford Shale Oil Field in South Texas has replaced foreign crude at the refinery
- The Three Rivers crude system, located in the Eagle Ford shale region in South Texas, consists of 11 crude oil truck unloading sites with lease automatic custody transfer units and a 1-mile, 12-inch pipeline with a capacity of 110,000 barrels per day that delivers crude oil to the Three Rivers refinery.
- The system also receives locally produced crude oil via connections to the Harvest Arrowhead pipeline system and the Plains Gardendale pipeline for processing at the Three Rivers refinery or for shipment through third-party pipelines to Valero’s two refineries in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Products Produced
- Liquefied petroleum gases (LPGs), propylene, gasoline, kerosene, jet fuel, diesel fuel, No. 6 fuel oil, petrochemicals and sulfur.
Projects
- NuStar Energy L.P. invested in pipeline revamps and construction to supply crude from the Eagle Ford Shale Oil Field to the refinery.

- 1974 - Operations at the refinery commenced
