Texas Gas Transmission Pipeline

Texas Gas Transmission, LLC ("Texas Gas") is an interstate pipeline that moves natural gas from Gulf Coast and Fayetteville Shale supply areas to more distant on-system markets in the Midwest and to off-system markets in the Northeast via interconnections with third-party pipelines.
There are approximately 6,110 miles of pipeline, having a peak-day delivery capacity of approximately 4.4 billion cubic feet (Bcf) per day which includes deliveries to pipeline interconnects in South Louisiana;
Nine natural gas storage fields located in Indiana and Kentucky, having aggregate storage capacity of approximately 180.0 Bcf of gas, of which approximately 84.0 Bcf is designated as working gas.
The principal sources of supply for Texas Gas are:
- Regional supply hubs and market centers: offshore Louisiana; Perryville, Louisiana; Henry Hub; Agua Dulce; and Carthage, Texas;
- Wellhead supplies: Fayetteville Shale in Arkansas, East Texas, northern and southern Louisiana and Mississippi; and
- Canadian natural gas through a pipeline interconnect with Midwestern Gas Transmission Company Gas Pipeline at Whitesville, Kentucky.
- It can receive gas from the Rockies Express Gas Pipeline at Lebanon, Ohio
- It has interconnections with Gulf South Gas Pipeline System
- It's also connected to the Egan Natural Gas Hub and Perryville Center Natural Gas Hub

1948 - Texas Gas was created with the merger of Memphis Natural Gas Company and Kentucky Natural Gas Corporation

1998 - Haughton Expansion completed
2006 - West Greenville-Elkton Lateral completed
2007 - Open season for Fayetteville and Greenville Laterals completed
2008 - Fayetteville Lateral Phase 1 completed
2009 - Midland Storage Lateral, Greenville Lateral & Fayetteville Lateral Phase 2 completed
