- The Project consists on the revamping of the existing units, the desulfurization of Diesel and gasoline, bottom conversion and the incensement of the average octane of gasoline; in addition, the production of sulfuric acid and self consumption generated electricity.

+++ History
- In 1917, the first crude oil refinery in Peru was started up in Talara
- In 1954, the Standard Oil Company (ex- ESSO), ex-owner of this unit, started it up while it’s installation and mechanical design was entrusted to the Arthur McKee Co contractor.
- In 1965, its capacity was extended from 45.000 to 62.000 barrels per day
- The Catalytic Cracking Complex was installed in 1974 year according to mechanical design and construction by Japan Gasolina Co. Company (JGC), using Universal Oil Products (UOP) technology.
