+++ Description

• The Skjold Field comprises a satellite development to the Gorm Oil Field, including two wellhead platforms, Skjold A and B, as well as an accommodation platform, Skjold C.
• There are no processing facilities at the Skjold Field, and the production is transported to the Gorm F platform for processing. The Gorm facilities provide the Skjold Field with injection water and lift gas. Produced water is reinjected.
• The Skjold C platform has accommodation facilities for 16 persons.

• 1977 - Skjold Oil Field discovered

+++ Geology

• The Skjold Field is an anticline structure, induced through salt tectonics. The reservoir is intersected by numerous, minor faults in the central part of the structure. At the flanks of the structure, the reservoir is less fractured. Unusually favourable production properties have been shown to exist in the reservoir.
