The Project
- Project Type: Upgrade
- Project Summary: EST is Eni's proprietary technology for the conversion of heavy oil residues in fine products, gasoline and gasoil. Unlike traditional oil processes, the EST technology can produce gasoline and gasoil without generating coke or fuel oil
- Main Contractors
- EPCM contract has been awarded to Saipem
- Basic Design Package (BDP) and Front End Engineering Design (FEED) have been completed by Saipem
- GE Oil & Gas will manufacture the heavy-wall, slurry reactors
