The Argentine had been absent from last Friday's group training session after struggling with a thigh strain with fans fearing he would be forced to sit out the cub's opening game.  
Messi was present as Barca returned to full training last Monday following a three moth layoff due to the [/news/coronavirus/index.html coronavirus] pandemic.

The captain took part in the first two sessions but was missing on Wednesday before the team enjoyed a day off on Thursday.
The club insisted the Ballon d'Or winner was suffering from a minor knock and was expected to return to full training in a few days.  
To the relief of Barca fans the forward was back among his team-mates on Monday and was all smiles as he looks to lead the Catalans to a successive title victory.

Quique Setien's side have a two-point lead over rivals Real Madrid with 11 games left to play.
