  • 1993 - The Kyle field was discovered by Mobil
  • 1995 - Premier acquired a 20% interest in the P748 licence, which contains the Kyle oil field, through its acquisition of Pict
  • 1998 - Government approvals granted
  • 2000 - Start of oil production
  • 2000 - Agreement signed with Maersk to utilise the Curlew FPSO
  • 2001 - Start up of full production
  • 2011 - Production halted after bad weather damaged the FPSO
  • 2021 - Approval granted for decommissioning
