    • Perform non-linear finite element analyses to assess the acceptability of the current design and conclude on whether additional mitigation measures are required. The assessments were based on DNV-OS-F101 and DNV-RP-F110 and considered the interaction between lateral buckling and fishing gear interaction. The scope included the assessment of the sections of pipeline on the seabed, on the rocky outcrop region where free spans were expected and at the crossings along the pipeline.

As part of the concept design, different pipeline configuration options were considered, such as cooling spools with pipeline trenching and backfilling, shallow burial with intermediate spools and surface snake lay option.
