Description
- The Janice ‘A’ FPU is located approximately 278km (172 miles) east-southeast of Aberdeen in block 30/17a. It is connected to three subsea well clusters producing from the Janice and James fields in block 30/17a and Affleck Oil Field located in block 30/19a
- The Janice subsea system is based upon a cluster of subsea wells arranged in two groups equally spaced about the drilling centre. The Janice subsea well cluster currently consists of nine oil production wells and four water injection wells.
- The James Field is produced via two subsea wells. The James well is connected to the Janice ‘A’ via a 5.5km flexible subsea flowline.
- The Affleck Field subsea system comprises two producing wells, a four slot subsea manifold containing a production and test header and a multiphase meter.
- Oil is exported via the Norpipe Crude Oil Pipeline to Teeside
- Gas is sent to the Judy Platform, from where it is sent via CATS Central Area Transmission System Gas Pipeline to the Teesside Gas Processing Plant (TGPP)
