- A 320 km long pipeline annually carries about 15 million tonnes of crude oil from the North Sea to DONG Energy's crude oil terminal located at the Shell Refinery in Fredericia.

Other Information
- Just over half of finished petroleum products shipped by Shell through the port, while the rest is run by road tankers to Maharashtra and most of Jutland.
- The refinery is extremely efficient and sells waste heat to local households.
History
