Description

  • Elevala-Ketu fields, licensed under PRL 21, is located onshore Papuan Basin in the Western Province of PNG.
  • The Final Development Plan(FDP), as submitted with the APDL 12, proposes a phased development, initially with condensate recovery and re-injection of dry gas, to be followed by gas sales at a later date once a gas commercialization pathway has been established. Completion of the Ketu-2 appraisal well confirmed that the Ketu field has a lateral extent of at least 9km and a gas column height of over 50m.
  • Upgraded mean recoverable resources at its Elevala field had 480Bcf of gas and 28.0MMbbl of condensate, up from the original estimate of 302Bcf of gas and 19.3MMbbl of condensate.
