Description

  • The D15-A platform is a major treatment and compression complex located 195 km from Den Helder on the Dutch coast. It was installed in 1999 at a water depth of 40 metres. The platform accumulates gas from fields in both the Dutch and the British North Sea sectors. It includes a dehydration facility and two gas compressor units. POB capacity is 24 people.
  • The D15-A platform treats and compresses gas produced by Wingate Gas Field, a third-party-operated field in the UK sector.
  • It receives gas from the Minke Gas Field, also located on the UK side of the maritime border
  • The various satellite platforms in the area are K9ab-A, K9ab-B, K9c-A, K2b-A, K12-B and D18a-A.
  • Since 2020 gas from the Sillimanite Gas Field has been processed at the platform
  • The gas produced in the area is transported via the Noordgastransport NGT Gas Pipeline offshore pipeline
