    • It will consist of three new process units: a naphtha hydrotreater unit, a platforming unit and an isomerization unit.
  • The refinery added a new 60,000 barrel per day (bpd) Crude Distillation Unit (CDU) in 2010

History

  • 1975 - Entrance to fuel production with the addition of the Atmospheric Distillation Unit.
  • 1978 - Construction of the Catalytic Reforming Unit
  • 1980 - Installation of the Catalytic Cracking Unit
  • 1984 - Construction of an Electric Power Production Unit that uses gaseous fuel as raw material. Right to sell energy to the domestic market.
  • 1986 - MTBE plant commissioned
  • 2000 - Completion of investment projects aiming at the production of products in harmonization to European Union specifications
  • 2005 - Hydrocracker Complex Completed
  • 2010 - Expansion completed
  • 2019 - Naphtha treatment project launched
  • 2022 - Naphtha treatment project completed
