  • Unloading capacity: The jetty can recieve LNG carriers in the size of 80,000-270,000 cubic-meter

    • This terminal is to receive LNG mainly from Australia and Qatar
    • Engie is also a supplier
  • Customers: It will serve general gas markets around Beijing and Tianjin

History

  • 2010 - The National Development and Reform Commission, granted approval to the project
  • 2011 - Groundbreaking ceremony held
  • 2012 - The roof of tank 3 is raised into place
  • 2013 - The commissioning cargo is delivered from Qatar
  • 2015 - First cargo from Engie
