This week fans called out Poh for playing it too safe on MasterChef by cooking the same dishes on the show that she has been making for years.
Indeed, a quick scan over the 47-year-old's Instagram page shows that Poh has made her favourite Stout Beef Pie with Blue Cheese Crust, Milly Philly dessert and Strawberry Lychee Chiffon cake several times since at least 2018.

Meanwhile, others thought it would be 'naive' to expect the competitors to cook dishes they were unfamiliar with.
Poh admitted that the Apple and Miso cake she made in the episode was 'playing it safe'.
'Apple and Miso is one of my favourite combos... I know this dish like the back of my hand,' she said in a piece to camera during Wednesday night's episode.
