Details
- ANR operates one of the largest interstate natural gas pipeline systems in the United States
- Through its approximately 10,600 miles of pipeline, ANR delivers more than 1 trillion cubic feet of natural gas annually, with a peak-day delivery capacity of more than 6 billion cubic feet (Bcf)
- It is supplied by various sources including the Anaconda Natural Gas Pipeline, Garden Banks Gas Pipeline, High Island Offshore Natural Gas Pipeline System, Manta Ray Gas Pipeline System, Phoenix Gas Pipeline, Regency Intrastate Gas Pipeline Company
- It interconnects with Kansas Gas Pipeline Company and the Gulf South Gas Pipeline System at Centerville and Rapides
- In Shelbyville, Indiana, it connects with Rockies Express Gas Pipeline
- The Northern Segment interconnects with several interstate pipelines, in particular Viking Gas Transmission Company Pipeline and Great Lakes Gas Transmission Company (GLGT) Pipeline in Wisconsin.
- The pipeline is connected to the Egan Natural Gas Hub & Perryville Center Natural Gas Hub
- There is to be an interconnect to supply the Driftwood LNG Export Terminal Project

History

- 1999 - Wisconsin Loop Expansion I & WI Interconnection completed
- 2000 - Wisconsin Expansion IIA, South Marsh Isle Lateral & LSP Electric Lateral added
- 2001 - Wisconsin Expansion IIB completed
- 2004 - WestLeg Expansion completed
- 2005 - NorthLeg Expansion & EastLeg Expansion
- 2006 - Wisconsin Expansion Project completed
- 2007 - Acquired by Transcanada
- 2008 - Rockies Express Pipeline connection starts supplying gas
- 2010 - Further Wisconsin Expansion completed
- 2012 - Marshfield Reduction Project completed
