The Route

  • The 670-mile (1,078-kilometer) Seaway Crude Pipeline System (SCPS) includes the 500-mile (805-kilometer), 30-inch diameter Freeport, Texas to Cushing, Oklahoma long-haul system, as well as the Texas City Terminal and Distribution System which serves refineries in the Houston and Texas City areas.
    • The **Longhaul System** consists of two 500-mile, 30-inch diameter pipelines that provide north-to-south transportation of crude oil from the Cushing hub to Seaway's Jones Creek terminal located near Freeport, Texas and the terminal located near Katy, Texas.
    • The **Freeport System** consists of a marine dock, three pipelines and other related facilities that transport crude oil to and from Freeport, Texas to the Jones Creek terminal.
    • The **Texas City System** consists of a marine dock, storage tanks, various pipelines and other related facilities that deliver crude oil from Texas City, Texas to Galena Park, Texas and other nearby locations.
  • SCPS also includes 6.8 million barrels of crude oil tankage on the Texas Gulf Coast and four import docks at two locations.
  • The pipeline is connected to the Enterprise Crude Houston (Echo) Terminal by an 85-mile lateral

Other Information
