+++ Description
- Situated on Block G offshore Sabah, Malaysia in a water depth of 1,854 feet (565 meters)
- The platform will be a ‘dry-tree’ tension leg design in which the topsides are supported on a buoyant semi-submersible structure tethered by tendons to the sea bed.
- The TLP will be designed as a fully-manned platform. The TLP will weigh approximately 26,000 metric tonnes incorporating a topsides, which will have facilities to process 60,000 barrels of oil and 1.4 million cubic meters per day of gas, and a hull.
- The pipelines connect the Malikai tension leg platform site to the Kebabangan platform
- Oil and Gas will be sent to The Sabah Oil and Gas Terminal (SOGT)
+++ Contractors
- **MMC AMEC:** basic engineering studies for the flow lines, risers, topside and hull for the Malikai platform
- **Technip / MMHE:** Engineering, procurement and construction of a tension leg platform (TLP)
- **Technip:** Transportation, installation and pre-commissioning of a 8” 50-kilometer gas pipeline and a 10” 55-kilometer liquid pipeline including steel catenary risers.
