Description

  • Scolty – Crathes is a subsea development of two Central North Sea oil fields. Both fields are single well tiebacks, daisy chained to the Kittiwake platform
  • Oil export is via the Forties Pipeline System (FPS) and gas export via SEGAL.

History

  • 2015 - Scolty and Crathes received regulatory approval
  • 2016 - First oil produced
  • 2022 - Waldorf Production acquires a 50% stake from MOL

Geology

  • Both fields are very similar in size, structure and reservoir comprising of simple four-way dip structures with high quality Eocene deep water sandstone reservoirs containing sweet 40° API light oil
