Robbers who broke into Dele Alli's £2million Hertfordshire mansion threatened to kill his girlfriend Ruby Mae's dog during the terrifying raid early on Wednesday morning.
Ruby Mae was reportedly playing pool with the Tottenham and England star and his brother Harry Hickford when the 23-year-old footballer was punched in the face by knife-wielding thugs who forced their way in to the home.
The dog, named Uno after Dele's favourite card game, was left unharmed but £350,000 worth of jewellery and watches were stolen according to police, who continue to investigate.

A source told the [ ] 'They were pretty nasty and after smashing their way in and punching Dele, they threatened everyone with physical harm unless they complied with their demands.
'They even threatened to kill the dog if things didn't go the way they wanted them to.

It was pretty scary.' 
The dog, named after Alli's favourite card game, came into Ruby Mae's ownership in July 2019

The Premier League ace and his model girlfriend were seen outside the property in Barnet, north London for the first time yesterday.
The couple had been isolating with Alli's brother Harry Hickford, Harry's partner and a long-term friend, when the robbers broke in and demanded the footballer hand over his valuables.

It has since been reported, by [ ], that the footballer has an overnight security guard, who it is said was 'not aware' of the two intruders.
The 24-year-old midfielder has today spoken out about the raid, describing it as a 'horrible experience'.  
He said: 'Thank you for all the messages.

Horrible experience but we're all okay now. Appreciate the support.'

The pair were seen leaving their north London home less than 24 hours after masked raiders burst in and robbed the Tottenham star in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Teammate Harry Kane said that Alli is 'shocked and angry' after speaking to him about about the robbery.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain, the Spurs captain said: 'So I text him after it happened and he seemed OK.

Obviously when anything like that happens I guess you'd be in a little bit of shock and I think he was a little bit angry.'
It is the third time top footballers have been targeted in the area in ten months - including fellow Spurs and Belgium star Jan Vertonghen whose home was targeted in March.

Two males broke into the back of Alli's north London property just after midnight - where his brother, Harry Hickford, has also been staying 
Robbers targeted Dele Alli at his north London home and stole items of jewellery including two watches.

As Sportsmail exclusively revealed, the Tottenham and England midfielder was 'thumped in the face' during the ordeal but did not suffer serious injury.  
Two males wearing balaclavas broke into the back of the property before threatening the Spurs star.
Following a scuffle, during which Alli suffered a minor facial injury, the two culprits took various items including jewellery and watches before fleeing.[/sport/dele-alli/index.html  ]
The 24-year-old's property is covered by CCTV and the footage has been passed on to the police, who have opened an investigation.
The player and his model girlfriend Ruby Mae, who is 23, have been together since early 2016.
She was by his side at the Euros that summer and the 2018 World Cup in Russia before they split for a short time early last year.
