The Project

• Project Type: An expansion and upgrade
• Project Summary: Reconstruction work at the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery is being done in three phases.
  • Phase I: Construction of a new bitumen plant and associated plant facilities, a liquid gas filling station
  • Phase II: Addition of units for the production of Euro-5 diesel fuel
  • Phase III:
    • Addition of units for the production of Euro-5-standard A-92/95/98 gasoline
    • Expansion of the refinery's processing capacity from 6.0 mtpa to 7.5 mtpa
    • Expansion of the FCC from 2 to 2.5 mtpa
