- Galveston A244 is a shallow-water junction platform that supports oil and gas production from the Boomvang, Nansen and Gunnison fields
- It receives oil from the Gunnison Oil and Gas Field via the **96 mile long Alpine Pipeline** and the Boomvang Oil and Gas Field & Nansen Oil and Gas Field, via the 57 mile long, 70,000 bpd capacity, **Boomvang and Nansen Joint Oil (BANJO) system**
- From this platform, the oil is delivered onshore through ExxonMobil’s Hoover Offshore Oil Pipeline System (HOOPS)
