• The capacity of the pipeline was increase to 1.4 million barrels per day from its former capacity of 730,000 barrels per day in 2012
• Following the expansion project, the pipeline increased volumes of Tengiz Crude Oil
• Fluor will provide project services for the marine terminal and supervisory control and data system (SCADA) portions of the Pipeline Expansion project

• 1997 - Russian assets in the CPC system that had been mothballed were acquired by CPC
• 1997 - Lukoil & Arco agree to invest in CPC
• 2001 - CPC for the first time loaded crude oil onto a tanker at its Marine Terminal
• 2010 - CPC Expansion Project Sanctioned
• 2011 - Fluor awarded contract for project services for the marine terminal and supervisory control and data system (SCADA)
• 2012 - First CPC Expansion Facility Completed
• 2013 - Caspian Pipeline Consortium Loaded 3000th Tanker

Other Information

• Fluor was the original program management contractor
• The original project involved refurbishing more than 700 kilometers of existing pipeline and building an additional 740 kilometres
