+++ The Project
- Project Type: Upgrade & Expansion
- Project Summary:
- The project is being realised in three stages:
- **Stage 1:** Atmospheric and vacuum distillation units and a naphtha hydrotreatment unit. This will increase the capacity but not the complexity
- **Stage 2:** Conversion and specification units, enabling the refinery to produce Euro V fuels
- **Stage 3:** Addition of the Flexicoking unit designed for deeper conversion of oil residues
- Main Contractors:
- **Siemens:** gas turbine-generators
- Licences:
- **Chevron Lummus Global:** Hydrocracker and diesel hydrotreater license
- **UOP:** isomerization and catalytic reforming of gasoline fractions
- **Technip:** Hydrogen production unit
