Brief Description

• The most complex Saudi Aramco refinery, it processes both crude oil & gas condensates
• Ras Tanura is part of a very large scale complex, with a NGL processing facility and a crude stabilization facility

• Samsung engineering is currently building a 100,000 bpd diesel desulphurisation unit at the plant
• Jacobs Engineering is working on a Refinery Clean Fuels and Aromatics Project
• Isomerisation, Naphtha hydro-treatment and CCR units are being added
• There is a major expansion planned for the refinery, but it is currently on hold
