  • 2006 - BG Group selected to supply and participate in a LNG regasification plant
  • 2007 - GNL Quintero S.A. incorporated and project sanctioned
  • 2007 - EPC contract signed and import terminal construction started
  • 2007 - BG Group and partners incorporated GNL Quintero S.A. and executed the shareholders’ agreement.
  • 2009 - BG Group delivered the first cargo of LNG to Chile in July
  • 2012 - BG Group agrees to sell its shareholding to Enagás
  • 2012 -The Board approved Quintero LNG start the Terminal expansion project
