  • 2013 - The project received an order from the Department of Energy conditionally granting authorization to export liquefied natural gas to non-free trade agreement nations
  • 2013 - Technip awarded FEED
  • 2015 - Draft EIS awarded by FERC
  • 2015 - Final Environmental Impact Statement issued
  • 2016 - Shell became a shareholder following its deal with BG Group
  • 2019 - a comprehensive commercial tender package was issued to engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractors
  • 2020 - Shell sold its 50% stake to Energy Transfer
  • 2022 - ENN signed an agreement to buy 2.7 mtpa
  • 2023 - Heads of Agreements signed with Cheniere and Gunvor
