History

  • 1980 - Refinery commissioned by Snamprogetti with 190,000 bpd capacity
  • 2006 - Modernisation project launched, with addition of coker
  • 2006 - Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) signed a loan agreement totaling US$900 million for the refinery modernization project
  • 2010 - Refinery modernisation project completed, with commissioning of Delayed Coker and Diesel Desulphurisation Units
