History
- 1974 - Refinery was commissioned with initial capacity of 100,000 barrels / day
- Capacity increased through debottlenecking project to be 118 000 barrels / day
- 1983 - Capacity was increased by 200 000 barrels / day by the addition of a second train, FOC II
- 1999 - The capacity of FOC II was increased to 230 000 barrels / day. As a result, processing of crude oil in the existing refinery complex increased by approximately 16 percent and naphtha production capacity more than doubled. Low sulfur waxy residual oil and lube oil production capacity increased by 28 and 68 percent, respectively. The project was managed by Fluor and funded by Ex-Im Bank
