Introduction

• CNPC and its subsidiary PetroChina are very active in both ends of the supply chain.
• In 2011 their first import terminals, Dalian and Jiangsu were commissioned
• This was followed by a small peak shaving plant at Ansai, in 2012 and Tangshan (Caofeidian) in 2015
• The company has stakes in a number of LNG export projects in Australia and elsewhere
