- The pipeline has two sections.
* The first section is a 557 (km) kilometers section of the pipeline in Bolivia from Rio Grande in Bolivia to Corumba in Brazil * The second section is the construction of 2,593 km of the pipeline in Brazil extending from Corumba to Porto Alegre including Penapolis compression station
- The pipeline connects to the Yacuiba To Rio Grande Gas Pipeline GASYRG in Rio Grande

- 2008 - A major accident and fire temporarily closed the pipeline
