  • Clair Ridge is a £4.5bn development announced by BP and its coventurers ConocoPhillips, Chevron, and Shell in October 2011. It is an extension of the giant [[[Clair Oil Field]]]
  • It is expected to come onstream in 2016 and produce up to 120,000 barrels of oil per day at peak.
  • The Clair Ridge development, is the first sanctioned large-scale offshore enhanced oil recovery (EOR) scheme using reduced salinity water injection (LoSal® EOR).
