A number of former Three Lions stars have opted to take up coaching after rounding off their individual glittering careers.
Gareth Southgate was infamously offered the national team job on a permanent basis in November 2016, and both Lampard and Gerrard have also secured top roles either side of the border.
Sol Campbell is another player to have featured under Eriksson, and the 45-year-old is currently in charge of League One outfit Southend United.
Several others, https://footballandcricketonline.blogspot.com/2020/06/steven-gerrard-kids.html including Wayne Rooney and Joe Cole, are among those to hold ambitions of becoming managers in the future.
Frank Lampard was part of the 'Golden Generation' and took charge of Chelsea last year
Steven Gerrard, who also played under Eriksson, was offered the top job at Rangers in 2018
And Eriksson is revelling in the success being enjoyed by some of the biggest names on the international stage.
He told [ The Sun]: 'It's great to see my old players evolving into managers and coaches.
'I remember them as players talking about it. I didn't have them for one game, I had them for a number of years, and I would be so happy for them if they are to become successful.
'I am very happy to see Frank Lampard, Steven Gerrard and Gareth Southgate doing so well.
The former England boss admitted he is revelling in the success enjoyed by his ex-charges
'You have others also coaching and managing and it's nice to see.
'I managed Lazio in my last job before I came to England. And of that team, more than 50 per cent of them are really good managers around the world.
'Diego Simeone at Atletico, Roberto Mancini with the Italian national team, Sinisa Mihajlovic at Bologna, Sergio Conceicao at Porto, Simone Inzaghi at Lazio.
'It is nice to follow them and see what they are doing.'
Eriksson was handed the reins of England's greatest crop of talent between 2001-2006, but ultimately had been unable to steer the team to silverware.
