Description
- The Penguins field was originally connected to the Brent Charlie platform via a sub-sea pipeline

History
- 1974 - Penguins oil field discovered
- 2001 - Field development approval granted
- 2002 - First oil produced
- 2017 - Field closed due to decommissioning of Brent Charlie
- 2018 - Shell took the final investment decision to redevelop the Penguins oil and gas field
- 2021 - Exxon sells its stake to HitecVision
