Description
- The Kvitebjørn Field is a gas field located about 130 km west of Sognefjorden in block 34/11, close to the Gullfaks field on the Norwegian continental shelf in the North Sea.
- Kvitebjørn is built with a fixed platform with a steel chassis and is fully integrated with the derrick, processing facilities and living quarters. Water depth in the area is around 190 meters. Production started in 2003, and the reservoir is about 4000 meters deep
- Gas is sent to the Kollsnes Gas Processing Plant
