- 1976 - It underwent a radical modernization
- 1991 - the refinery was expanded with an alkylation plant and a higher olefins plant.
- 1993 - construction of a combined heat and power plant that generates sufficient power to supply the refinery with all electricity
- 2014 - Delayed Coker project announced
- 2018 - Coker Project completed
