Details
- The IGB gas pipeline is connected with the Greek national gas transmission system in the area of Komotini and with the Bulgarian national gas transmission system in the area of Stara Zagora.
- The length of the pipeline is 182 km, the pipeline diameter will be 32” and the capacity is 3 bcm/y in the direction from Greece to Bulgaria.
- The pipeline is designed to enable its capacity to be increased up to 5 bcm/y and for reverse flow, if market demand is there.
- The connector enables Bulgaria to be supplied with gas from the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline TAP and also the Alexandroupolis LNG Terminal when it is completed
