* Majnoon is one of the world's largest oil fields, estimated by the Iraqi government to hold about 38 billion barrels of oil.
* An early production system comprising two trains each with capacity for 50,000 barrels of oil per day

* The consortium bid a plateau production of 1.8 million barrels of oil per day, up from a previous level of approximately 45,000 barrels of oil per day.
