* The Gaupe field is a a two well cross-border subsea tie-back to the BG Group-operated [[[Armada Oil And Gas Field]]] infrastructure located in the UK central North Sea. From Armada, the processed gas and liquids are exported via pipelines to the UK.
* The estimated gross reserves are approximately 28 million barrels of oil equivalents (MMboe) with net peak production of approximately 5,000 barrels of oil equivalents per day (boepd), in 2012.
* The production will comprise of both oil and gas in the ratio of approximately 50:50 over field life.

 * Gaupe produced oil and gas from two structures, Gaupe South and Gaupe North. Most of the resources were in sandstone in the Triassic Skagerrak Formation, while some were in Middle Jurassic sandstone. The reservoirs lie at a depth of 3,000 metres. The two structures had a gas cap overlying an oil zone. Due to segmentation, the vertical and lateral connectivity in the field is poor.
