=== Brief Description ===
* Gate LNG Terminal is the first such terminal in The Netherlands. The terminal has an initial throughput capacity of 12 billion m3 (bcm) per annum and will consist of three storage tanks and two jetty's.

* Storage capacity: four storage tanks, each having a capacity of about 180,000 m³
* Unloading capacity: The jetties have been designed to accommodate a future generation of larger LNG carriers and Qatar max vessels (with a capacity of about 250,000 m³

* A consortium made up of Techint, Sener, Entrepose and Vinci
* **Freyssinet:** Pre-stressing for LNG tanks
* **Tractebel:** Technical assistance for the Development of the Gate LNG terminal in Rotterdam including layout optimisation and finalisation (jetty configuration, building dimensions, LNG pipe routing, ….), storage tank and BOG handling comparison studies, assistance to risk analysis, process optimisation studies, vaporiser selection study, equipment list, noise map
