* Nowadays, it is in execution stage the increase of the LNG storage capacity, which will involve the construction of two new tanks, each of 150,000 m3.
* When the seventh tank is built, the plant’s oldest two 40,000 m3 tanks will be dismantled, and when the eighth tank is built, the 80,000 m3 tank will be dismantled.

* 1969 - The terminal commenced operations with two tanks, each with a storage capacity of 40,000 m3

* 2005 - LNG storage capacity was increased with a fifth 150,000 m3 tank, and another similar tank was added in 2006
* 2012 - One of the world’s largest LNG tankers offloaded at Barcelona
