A restaurant has launched a twist on the cult classic high tea - complete with Balmain bug sandwiches, barramundi scotch egg and gin. <br>The Westin [/news/melbourne/index.html Melbourne]'s hotel restaurant Allegro is offering diners the ultimate seafood high tea, featuring an abundance of food paired perfectly with gin cocktails.<br>Available now until March 31, the 'High Seas' menu includes small bites such as oysters with dry gin and red snapper dressing and Port Phillip Bay scallops with Four Pillars orange and mustard glaze, dill and parsley.<br>Other delicious dishes include Balmain bug sandwiches with barrel aged gin mayonnaise, yabby sesame toast with bloody Shiraz gin, sweet chilli and pepper berry sauce, and Humpty Doo barramundi scotch egg with lemon myrtle aioli.<br>         The Westin Melbourne's hotel restaurant Allegro has launched a twist on the cult classic high tea - complete with Balmain bug sandwiches, barramundi scotch egg and gin<br>         The 'High Seas' menu includes Balmain bug sandwiches, barramundi scotch egg and scallops<br>To end your dining experience, diners will be treated to a gin botanicals ice cream sandwich to satisfy their sweet tooth.
